Description

Crispy, golden cheese balls filled with creamy cheese, smoky bacon, and a spicy kick of jalapeño.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños, diced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until blended.
  2. Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls.
  3. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry cheese balls in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dips.
