Delicious baked pretzels stuffed with creamy cheese and savory ham, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.
Ingredients

- 4 Laugenbrezeln (thawed or fresh)
- 4 slices of ham (turkey ham works beautifully too)
- 150 grams of grated cheese (Gouda or Emmental recommended)
- 2 tablespoons of cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon of mustard (optional)
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (chives or parsley for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (355°F) with the conventional setting.
- Slice each Laugenbrezel down the middle lengthwise.
- Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on the inside of each pretzel.
- Layer each pretzel with a slice of ham.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese atop the ham.
- Arrange the filled pretzels on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs and serve warm.
Notes
Try different combinations of cheese for unexpected twists! Prepare pretzels in advance and bake when guests arrive for convenience.
