Description

Deliciously soft and chewy banana chocolate chip cookies with a perfect balance of sweetness and rich chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the softened butter and sugars, mixing until fluffy.
  4. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture. Allow cookies to cool to enhance their chewy texture.
