Description

Crispy, golden panko-crusted salmon bites paired with a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce for an unforgettable dining experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon by cutting the fillets into roughly 1-inch cubes.
  2. Set up your dredging station with flour, eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in three shallow bowls.
  3. Dredge each piece of salmon in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet until shimmering, about ¼ inch deep.
  5. Fry salmon bites in the hot oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a bowl.
  7. Serve the bites hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a side of bang bang sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make ahead by breading the bites and refrigerating until ready to fry. They can also be baked or air fried for a healthier option.
