- 1 pound fresh or frozen salmon fillets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the salmon by cutting the fillets into roughly 1-inch cubes.
- Set up your dredging station with flour, eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in three shallow bowls.
- Dredge each piece of salmon in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally roll in panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet until shimmering, about ¼ inch deep.
- Fry salmon bites in the hot oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a bowl.
- Serve the bites hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a side of bang bang sauce for dipping.
Notes
Make ahead by breading the bites and refrigerating until ready to fry. They can also be baked or air fried for a healthier option.
