Description

Delicious and creamy lemon marbled cheesecake bars with a buttery crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well combined.
  7. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cheesecake mixture on top and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set.
  10. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a stronger lemon flavor, add more lemon zest.
  • These bars can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
