Description

Candy-Coated Apple Footballs are a fun and festive treat perfect for game day, combining the sweetness of candy with the crunch of apples.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium apples
  • 1 cup candy melts (green and white)
  • 1 cup chocolate melts
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup edible glitter (optional)
  • Wooden skewers or popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.
  2. Insert a wooden skewer into the top of each apple.
  3. Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.
  4. Dip each apple into the melted candy, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. Place the coated apples on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. While the candy coating is still wet, use mini chocolate chips to create football laces on each apple.
  7. Allow the apples to set until the coating hardens.
  8. If desired, sprinkle edible glitter over the apples for extra flair.

Notes

  • Make sure to use firm apples for better coating.
  • Experiment with different colors of candy melts for variety.
  • Store in a cool place to keep the coating from melting.
