- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed fresh vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook until tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, tossing everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, substitute beef with tofu.
- Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
