- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Mix the cooked penne pasta into the skillet, tossing until evenly coated.
- Remove from heat and fold in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Can be made ahead; store beef and sauce in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze before adding cheese.
