- ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
- Heart-shaped chocolate candies
- Heart sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheet.
- Press a thumb into the center of each ball to create a well.
- Fill each well with a heart-shaped chocolate candy.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
