Description

A rich and hearty dip that combines seasoned beef, creamy cheeses, and vibrant vegetables, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: Heat your large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it’s fully browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Mix in the Goodness: Stir in the drained black beans, diced tomatoes, and corn. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Melt the Cheeses: Lower the heat and add cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir continuously until melted and combined.
  4. Serve Warm: Transfer to a bowl or keep in the skillet and serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare a day in advance and store in the fridge; reheat before serving. For a baked version, spread in an oven-safe dish and bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
