Description

Crispy wonton wrappers filled with a savory blend of lump crab meat, cream cheese, and green onions, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, lump crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Stir well until fully incorporated.
  2. Fill the wrappers: Lay out one wonton wrapper at a time. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center, moisten the edges with water, and fold the wrapper over diagonally, pinching tightly.
  3. Heat the oil: In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the bombs: Carefully place three to four bombs in the hot oil and fry for about 3–4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  5. Drain the grease: Use a slotted spoon to remove the bombs from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Assemble the bombs in advance and refrigerate until ready to fry. For a healthier option, use an air fryer.
