Description

A creamy and rich pasta dish featuring tender chicken and vibrant spinach, enveloped in a luscious cream cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 400 g Pasta (your favorite variety)
  • 300 g Chicken Breast
  • 200 g Cream Cheese
  • 150 g Fresh Spinach
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan (optional), for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and add the pasta. Cook according to package directions until al dente, reserving a cup of pasta water for later use.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add Chicken: Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Incorporate Spinach: Add fresh spinach to the skillet and let it wilt for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Make Creamy Sauce: Stir in the cream cheese, adjusting the consistency with the reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Combine Pasta: Drain pasta and add to the skillet, mixing until well coated.
  7. Season to Taste: Add salt, pepper, and Parmesan if using, and toss together.
  8. Serve Hot: Transfer to plates and enjoy warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with chickpeas or sautéed mushrooms. For customization, add red pepper flakes for heat or other vegetables for variation.
