Description

A delightful and creamy pasta dish with tender chicken and tangy feta, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g Pasta (such as Penne or Fusilli)
  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 150 g Feta Cheese
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • Fresh Parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Pasta: Set a large pot filled with salted water on the stove and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the pasta, cooking it according to package instructions until you achieve that lovely al dente texture. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the Chicken: While the pasta cooks, chop the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Generously season them with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika for an added flavor kick.
  3. Sauté the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken pieces, allowing them to become golden brown and cooked through—about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Cook the Aromatics: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until they become soft and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Create the Creamy Sauce: Slowly pour in the cream, stirring as you do. Crumble the feta cheese into the skillet, letting it melt and blend with the cream.
  6. Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the sautéed chicken to the skillet, sprinkling in the dried oregano for extra depth of flavor. Let everything simmer together for a couple of minutes.
  7. Mix in the Pasta: Finally, add the drained pasta to the skillet and gently toss everything together, ensuring each piece is luxuriously coated in creamy sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream.
