- 8 oz linguine
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving about a cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, letting it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Toss the cooked linguine into the skillet, ensuring it’s thoroughly coated with the sauce. Add reserved pasta water as necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. You can prepare the sauce ahead of time and store it in the fridge.
