Description

A delightful fusion of crispy fried wonton shells filled with creamy crab and cheese, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh or imitation), chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning. Blend until smooth.
  2. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper, wet edges with water, and seal tightly.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with dipping sauce.

Notes

Customize filling by adding bell peppers or adjusting seasoning. Can also be baked or air-fried for a lighter option.
