Description

Golden brown and irresistibly crunchy, Crispy Dill Pickle Parmesan Chicken is a delightful dish that combines tender chicken marinated in dill pickle juice with a crispy, cheesy crust.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by placing it in a shallow dish and covering it with dill pickle juice. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  2. Set up dredging stations with flour mixed with spices, whisked eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs with Parmesan.
  3. Dredge the chicken, first in the flour, then in the egg wash, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Fry the chicken in hot oil over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Drain the chicken on a wire rack and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make ahead by marinating chicken the night before. For a healthier option, use an air fryer at 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
