Description

A delightful pull-apart bread stuffed with gooey cheese and infused with rich garlic flavor, perfect for game day or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into small squares, roughly 3 inches each.
  3. Place a small amount of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square and gather the corners to form a ball.
  4. Arrange the stuffed dough balls in a football shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  5. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, add minced garlic and herbs, stirring until fragrant.
  6. Brush the garlic herb butter generously over the dough balls.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a crisp texture, consider using an air fryer instead. You can customize the filling by adding pepperoni or cooked sausage.
