Description

A delicious and hearty casserole made with ground beef and zucchini, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the sliced zucchini, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until the zucchini is slightly tender.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
