- 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Rolls
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup half and half or whole milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 4 tablespoons butter for cooking
- Powdered sugar, fresh fruit, and maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt until well combined.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and gently dip each half in the egg mixture.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter on the griddle, then place the soaked rolls cut-side down.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining butter and rolls.
- Serve warm with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, and maple syrup.
