- 12 Hawaiian Rolls
- 12 cheese-filled Meatballs
- 1 cup Marinara Sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced (optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic (if using).
- Place meatballs in the skillet and sear until browned on all sides.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer seared meatballs on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Spoon marinara sauce over meatballs and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Cap with the top halves of the rolls.
- Bake for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a crispy texture, consider broiling sliders for the last minute of baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
