Description

A comforting dish of golden-brown honey-glazed chicken paired with creamy mac & cheese, perfect for family gatherings and casual meals.


Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts
  • Honey
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic, freshly minced
  • Pasta (elbow macaroni preferred)
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Milk
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare and marinate the chicken by mixing equal parts honey and soy sauce with minced garlic. Coat the chicken, cover, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  3. Sear the chicken in a heated skillet with oil for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and let rest.
  4. Make the honey sauce by simmering the reserved marinade in the same skillet until slightly thickened.
  5. Prepare the mac & cheese by melting butter in the pot, whisking in flour, then gradually adding milk. Stir in cheese until melted.
  6. Combine and serve the mac & cheese alongside the honey-glazed chicken, drizzling remaining sauce over the chicken.

Notes
