- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup strawberry puree

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and milk until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Divide the batter into three bowls. Leave one bowl as chocolate, add strawberry puree to the second bowl, and leave the third bowl as vanilla.
- Layer the batters in the cupcake liners, starting with chocolate, then vanilla, and topping with strawberry.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting with vanilla frosting and garnishing with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
- Make sure to use fresh strawberry puree for the best taste.
