- 1 lb sausage (kielbasa or any preferred type)
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- Layer the frozen pierogies evenly in the bottom of your crockpot.
- Spread the sausage pieces over the pierogies.
- Pour the broth over the mixture until all ingredients are submerged.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir gently before serving and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Make ahead by assembling ingredients the night before and refrigerate. You can also bake this casserole at 350°F for about 45 minutes if preferred.
