Description

A comforting dish featuring fluffy potatoes enveloped in a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs Potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 4 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: Peel and cut the potatoes into uniform cubes, about 2-3 cm each.
  2. Boil the Potatoes: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the cubed potatoes until tender, roughly 15-20 minutes.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the garlic until golden brown.
  4. Make the Cream Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, simmer briefly, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine and Coat: Drain the potatoes and add them to the skillet, gently folding them into the sauce.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream. Adding herbs like thyme or red pepper flakes can enhance flavor.
