- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Jam of your choice
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the warm water and olive oil to the mixture and stir until it forms a shaggy dough.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
- Place the kneaded dough back in the mixing bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Once risen, gently flatten the dough onto a greased baking sheet and create dimples.
- Spoon dollops of your chosen jam into each dimple.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy warm!
