Description

This Quick Jam Donut Focaccia combines fluffy focaccia with your favorite jam for a delightful treat perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Jam of your choice
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the mixture and stir until it forms a shaggy dough.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the kneaded dough back in the mixing bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Once risen, gently flatten the dough onto a greased baking sheet and create dimples.
  7. Spoon dollops of your chosen jam into each dimple.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy warm!
