- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 2 cups Reese’s Pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the peanut butter chips and Reese’s Pieces.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden but the centers are still gooey.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. Consider using crunchy peanut butter for more texture.
