Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with your pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness on a floured surface.
- Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined pizza peel or baking sheet.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly.
- Scatter the crumbled sausage over the cheese.
- Spoon dollops of ricotta across the pizza.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Slide the parchment onto the hot stone or baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with fresh basil if desired. Let it cool, slice, and serve while warm!
