Description

A delightful dish where succulent chicken is paired with a creamy balsamic caramelized onion sauce, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Large Onions, Sliced
  • ½ Cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Fresh Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat for about a minute until shimmering.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Sear on each side until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Add the sliced onions to the same skillet and sauté for about 10-15 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  4. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and reduce for a couple of minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, mixing well to create a luxurious sauce.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes, soaking up the flavors.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to use boneless thighs for added juiciness. You can also substitute heavy cream with coconut cream for a dairy-free option.
