Delicious and comforting Soft Baked Maple Donut Bars drizzled with a sweet glaze, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk (whole or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup melted butter (cooled)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish and line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, maple syrup, milk, and cooled melted butter.
- Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with 2 tbsp of milk.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm bars and serve.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute milk with almond or oat milk, and replace melted butter with coconut oil.
