Description

Delightful no-bake truffles that encapsulate the essence of strawberry shortcake in a bite-sized treat, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Golden Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts
  • Additional freeze-dried strawberries, crushed (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Cookies and Strawberries: In a food processor, pulse the Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries until finely crushed.
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed mixture with softened cream cheese until well mixed.
  3. Shape the Truffles: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Coat in White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate chips, dip each truffle, and coat with crushed freeze-dried strawberries before the chocolate sets.

Notes

For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese. Can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
