Description

A delightful appetizer featuring savory kielbasa and sweet pineapple glazed for a perfect balance of flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa (sliced into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper to mix the glaze.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium heat or your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Toss the kielbasa pieces with the pineapple chunks in a separate bowl.
  4. If using skewers, alternately thread the kielbasa and pineapple onto them.
  5. Brush the glaze over the skewered bites.
  6. Grill or bake for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with remaining glaze until heated through and caramelized.
  7. Plate and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy twist, add sriracha to the glaze. You can also prepare the glaze in advance for easier cooking.
