- 200 g Wild Garlic (fresh)
- 300 g Beef (minced or cubed)
- 1 Leek (sliced)
- 3 Eggs (fresh)
- 200 ml Cream (heavy)
- 200 g Cheese (grated, your choice)
- 1 Package Puff Pastry (store-bought)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan-assisted).
- Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned.
- Add the sliced leeks to the pan and sauté until softened.
- Chop the wild garlic roughly and add it to the mixture, allowing it to wilt.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and cream, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the pastry into the quiche dish and mold it to the shape.
- Spoon the beef and leek mixture into the pastry-lined dish.
- Pour the egg-cream mixture over the filling.
- Sprinkle grated cheese generously on top.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and set.
- Allow the quiche to cool slightly before serving.
