- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- Topping of choice (double crust, lattice top, or crumble)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix the blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
- Fill the pie crust with the berry mixture, spreading evenly.
- Add small pats of butter on top of the filling.
- Top with your chosen crust design and sprinkle sugar if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving with ice cream.
