- 500 g Chicken Breast Fillet
- 1 Onion
- 3–4 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 200 ml Cream or Cooking Cream
- 100 ml Vegetable Broth
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch (optional)
- Fresh Parsley for Garnish
Instructions
- Slice the chicken fillet into uniform strips.
- Chop the onion and garlic finely.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken strips to the hot oil and sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, and paprika over the chicken.
- Toss in the chopped onions and garlic, sautéing for a minute.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the cream and let simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with a bit of water (if using) and add to the sauce until thickened.
- Finish with a spritz of lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley.
