Description

Ingredients

  • Soft corn or flour tortillas
  • Ground chicken
  • Taco seasoning
  • Cheese (pepper jack or cheddar)
  • Crisp iceberg or romaine lettuce
  • Fresh diced tomatoes or salsa
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa

Instructions

  1. Heat your skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken, cooking and stirring until it’s fully browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle in your taco seasoning, allowing the meat to soak up the flavors.
  3. Place soft tortillas in the skillet, resting meat-side down to fry slightly.
  4. Flip and toast each side for about 1-2 minutes until they are golden.
  5. Remove the tortillas and layer your toppings: start with seasoned chicken, sprinkle cheese, and add lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.
  6. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
