Description

Delight in a rich chocolate cake rolled with a fluffy whipped cream filling, draped in silky ganache.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, letting it hang over the edges for easy removal.
  2. Beat the eggs and granulated sugar together until thickened and pale—about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture gently.
  5. Spread the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Cool for a minute, then roll the cake in the parchment paper while warm.
  7. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  8. Unroll the cooled cake gently, spread the whipped cream, and roll it back up.
  9. Drizzle chocolate ganache over the rolled cake.

Notes

For best results, ensure ingredients are at room temperature. The cake can be made ahead and refrigerated before serving.
