Description

A heartwarming classic bread pudding filled with tender bread cubes soaked in a creamy custard, flavored with vanilla and cinnamon.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups bread, cubed
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Add the cubed bread and toss gently to absorb the liquid, folding in raisins if using.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.
