Description

Indulge in these decadent cream cheese brownies featuring a rich chocolate base complemented by a creamy cheesecake layer, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g Dark Chocolate
  • 150 g Butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 100 g Flour
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 200 g Cream Cheese
  • 60 g Sugar for Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 1 Egg for Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Set your oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and line your baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter: In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together using a double boiler or microwave until glossy and smooth.
  3. Add sugar: Mix in the sugar, stirring until thoroughly combined.
  4. Incorporate eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  5. Fold in flour and salt: Gently fold the flour along with a pinch of salt into the chocolate.
  6. Prepare the cream cheese filling: In another bowl, whip together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Create brownie layers: Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, add the cream cheese mixture, then dollop the remaining brownie batter on top.
  8. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool completely: Let the brownies cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These brownies can be stored in the fridge for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
