- 300 g Pasta (Penne or Spaghetti)
- 400 g Chopped Tomatoes (Canned)
- 200 ml Vegetable Broth
- 100 ml Cream or Plant-Based Alternative
- 1 Small Onion, Finely Diced
- 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 50 g Grated Cheese (Optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian Herbs
- Fresh Basil (Optional)
Instructions
- Chop the Onion and Garlic.
- Heat Olive Oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Sauté Onion and Garlic until soft and translucent.
- Add Tomatoes and Broth, and bring to a gentle boil.
- Introduce the Pasta to the bubbling sauce and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Incorporate Cream along with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
- Cheese can be added now if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
