Description

A comforting and sophisticated creamy tomato pasta dish that combines the tang of tomatoes, the warmth of garlic, and the decadence of cream.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 300 g Pasta (Penne or Spaghetti)
  • 400 g Chopped Tomatoes (Canned)
  • 200 ml Vegetable Broth
  • 100 ml Cream or Plant-Based Alternative
  • 1 Small Onion, Finely Diced
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 50 g Grated Cheese (Optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian Herbs
  • Fresh Basil (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Chop the Onion and Garlic.
  2. Heat Olive Oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Sauté Onion and Garlic until soft and translucent.
  4. Add Tomatoes and Broth, and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Introduce the Pasta to the bubbling sauce and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Incorporate Cream along with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
  7. Cheese can be added now if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Adjust cream quantity based on richness preference. Experiment with vegetables for added nutrients.
