Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well-blended.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until fully combined and frothy.
  3. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, being careful not to over-mix.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips, folding them through the batter just enough to distribute evenly.
  5. Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat, lightly greasing it with butter or oil.
  6. Use a ladle to pour the batter onto the skillet, making each pancake about ¼ cup.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled generously with syrup, and enjoy!

Notes
