- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 12 corn or flour tortillas
- 1 can of black beans (optional)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1 cup chopped lettuce (optional)
- Sour cream (for serving)
- Salsa (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken and taco seasoning in a mixing bowl.
- Warm the tortillas slightly in a pan or microwave.
- Fill each tortilla with a mixture of chicken and cheese before rolling tightly, seam-side down.
- Arrange the tacos snugly in a baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until crispy and golden.
- Serve with black beans, diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, sour cream, and salsa.
Notes
For a golden topping, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
