A creamy and comforting pasta dish featuring tender broccoli, garlic, and rich cream sauce, perfect for any occasion.

- 300 g Pasta (Penne or Fusilli)
- 400 g Broccoli
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 200 ml Cream
- 100 g Cream Cheese
- 150 ml Vegetable Broth
- 50 g Grated Cheese (like Parmesan)
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water, bring it to a rolling boil, and generously salt it. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta cooks, prepare the broccoli by cutting it into small florets and blanching them in boiling water for 4-5 minutes.
- Drain the broccoli and set aside.
- Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and stir for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Lower the heat and stir in the cream and cream cheese until blended.
- Fold in the blanched broccoli, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Drain the al dente pasta and add it to the sauce. Toss to coat.
- Serve immediately, topped with grated cheese.
Notes
You can make the sauce in advance and store it in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat and add fresh pasta when ready to serve.
