Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot with sufficiently salted water. Aim for al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, divide the broccoli into small florets and blanch them in boiling water for about 4-5 minutes.
- Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and add the onion. Sauté until translucent.
- Add the chopped garlic and sauté briefly until golden and aromatic.
- Pour in the vegetable broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the cream and cream cheese, creating a silky sauce.
- Incorporate the blanched broccoli, gently folding it into the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add the cooked pasta, mixing thoroughly.
