Description

A vibrant and flavorful dish featuring succulent shrimp and crisp tender asparagus, all roasted together for a delightful weeknight meal or special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, for spice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the shrimp and asparagus evenly on a large sheet pan.
  3. Mix together the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Pour the mixture over the shrimp and asparagus, tossing to coat evenly.
  5. Spread everything out in a single layer on the sheet pan.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque and the asparagus is tender.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

For a twist, substitute lemon with lime or add smoked paprika.
